The Nicest Places in America is Reader’s Digest’s yearly search for places where people are kind, differences are celebrated, and neighbors work together to make their communities better. Last year, Buffalo, New York received top honor after neighbors opened their doors to shelter fellow Buffalonians when a record-shattering blizzard brought the city to a halt.
