Top of the morning to ye!
They say there are only two kinds of people in the world: the Irish, and those who wish they were. But, whatever our heritage, we all get to experience a little of that Emerald Isle magic on March 17th each year when we put on our greenest clothing to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (although sadly not with a day off work like they do in Ireland; is this why they think everyone wants to be Irish?). The feast day to honor the life of St. Patrick, renowned for casting the snakes out of Ireland, has grown into an international celebration of shamrocks, song, and green beer. While we don’t recommend the green beer, we do recommend a four leaf clover hunt to bring you some of the luck of the Irish. We also recommend reading these St. Patrick’s Day quotes; it’s the perfect time of year to reflect on the luck you’ve already had, as well as think about making some more. For all other days in the year, these good luck quotes should do the trick. Cheers! Or as they say in Ireland, sláinte! (Pronounced “slahn-chuh”).
