These popular TikTok products actually live up to the hype—I know because I tried them.
I’m always skeptical of viral TikTok products. I always question whether people actually purchased the product themselves or if it was gifted to them in exchange for a social media post. And if that’s the case, then are the products really as good as people claim? As someone who has tested hundreds of viral products, I can assure you that plenty of them are not worth your hard earned money.
On the other hand, there are tons of viral TikTok products that are worth their weight in gold. The Pink Stuff All-Purpose Cleaning Paste
The Pink Stuff, one of those viral TikTok products that really works, has more than 112,000 five-star reviews on Amazon backing it up. Although I hate cleaning, I oddly find this all-purpose paste satisfying as it cleans virtually anything and everything. Recently, I rearranged my children’s car and booster seats in my minivan, only to discover the horrifyingly dirty condition of the seats.
I experimented with three different cleaning products in an attempt to remove the stains from the seats, but none of them proved effective. The Pink Stuff became my last resort before considering an appointment to have my car detailed, and to my surprise, the stains came off within seconds with minimal effort! So if this isn’t one of the best things to buy on Amazon, I don’t know what is.

This cult-favorite prebiotic soda is loved by celebrities, influencers and just about anyone who gets their hands on a can. The most expensive item on our list is Bissell’s Little Green Machine, priced at $123, but rest assured, it’s a worthy investment. This wondrous little device is perfect for anyone with kids, pets or a tendency to spill coffee on their couch every time they sit down (not that I would know anything about that). However, what I do know is that this portable carpet and upholstery cleaner actively removes all kinds of stains.

Wearing sunscreen is undoubtedly one of the best things you can do for your skin. If you’re anything like me and can’t stand the feeling of a thick, heavy SPF on your face, then you’ll love Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen. This viral face sunscreen is weightless, scent-free and completely invisible. Upon initial application, its oil-free formula provides a unique texture. I’m always skeptical about trending TikTok products, and this viral lash serum was no different. I had some concerns, like, would it genuinely work and could it potentially irritate my eyes? Or would it cause my natural lashes to fall out if I stopped using it? Nonetheless, I decided to give this serum a try.
To my pleasant surprise, it caused no irritation, and to my absolute delight, I received compliments on my significantly longer lashes. I must confess, I grew lazy and ceased using it for a while, dreading the possibility of my lashes falling out. However, my fears proved unfounded as my lashes remained intact. And yes, once I resumed its use, they continued to grow again.
Linen Blend Curtains
Amazon offers a range of awesome dupes for viral TikTok products, from Skims bodysuits to belt bags. During my search, I came across these Solino Home linen curtains, which serve as fantastic alternatives to a popular Pottery Barn set. Just like those frequently appearing in my Instagram reels, these curtains boast a linen and cotton blend. They’re also available in various lengths and neutral colors to complement any room in your house.
What sets them apart is that each panel costs approximately half the price of the ones promoted by influencers. The quality is exceptional, and they have completely transformed the appearance of my bedroom—without breaking the bank.
Mini Ice Cube Trays
The term “nugget ice maker” has been viewed more than 503 million times on TikTok. I’ve wanted one of these smart countertop gadgets, which turns water into chewable pellet ice, for a while now. But they are pricey! The cult-favorite product will set you back at least $600. For me, it wasn’t worth the investment. Instead, I opted for these mini ice cube trays.
This set includes four stackable plastic trays, a versatile bucket for storing the small cubes and a plastic scoop. Although the resulting ice cubes resemble pebbles more than nuggets, it’s incredibly gratifying to scoop them into my water bottle every morning.
Bug Bite Thing
Summer is coming, which means so are mosquitoes. I’ve been keeping one of these Bug Bite Things in my car, purse and house for well over a year now. And yes, they actually work. This little suction tool removes insect venom, saliva and other irritants left under your skin. And while it doesn’t make a bite go away completely, it significantly reduces the swelling and irritation that comes along with being a walking bug buffet.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This viral lip mask is one of those TikTok products that is beloved by celebs and Reader’s Digest editors alike. All you do is put it on before bed and poof! You’ll wake up with gorgeous, hydrated lips. It comes with a tiny, silicone-tipped applicator, which is helpful if you don’t want to get the mask on your fingers or under your nails. Plus, one tub lasts quite a long time!
It also comes in five different flavors. But, full disclosure: I’ve tried them all and found that while they all smell fantastic, they don’t taste like much. So my advice would be to just buy the jar in whichever color you like best.
Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer
I’ve tried more blow-dry brushes than I can count at this point, including the Dyson Airwrap and the Shark FlexStyle. And out of all the dryers I’ve tested, the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer remains a favorite. Not only is it super easy to use, but at just $40, it’s also the most affordable styling tool. Due to its budget-friendly price and the absence of attachments, I feel comfortable traveling with it, and my heart doesn’t skip a beat if I accidentally (or inevitably) drop it.
Adhesive Paper Towel Holder
Of all of the random TikTok products that have made their way into my algorithm, this adhesive paper towel holder might just be one of my favorites. The highly-rated Amazon product comes in five different finishes and has a strong adhesive pad that sticks to any smooth surface. I opted to put mine inside of one of my kitchen cabinets, as opposed to underneath, to keep it out of sight. It’s been there for almost a year and shows no signs of budging!
